Greg Alexander of the Delaware Federation Nation won the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Divisional at John H. Kerr Lake using a Buggs Island "Cheeseburger" jig working isolated boat docks and laydowns. Greg was fishing the main lake up river and doing well during practice a month before the tournament, but had to change up after tropical storm "Hannah" blew through the area. Fishing cleaner water down river, he put together a total of 27 pounds, 11 ounces, edging out second day leader Ed Fore of the Virginia federation. Greg moves on to the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation National Championship to be held at Kansas' Milford Lake in November. Next stop, if he qualifies, the Bassmaster Classic!!
